Katheryn Hancock - President

Katheryn grew up at the beach, attending Neptune Beach Elementary and Fletcher Middle and High Schools. She received a B.A. in History and English from the University of North Florida, a Master's Degree in Latin American Studies from Vanderbilt University, and a law degree from the University of Alabama. She also had an article on the discharge of student loans in bankruptcy published in a legal journal.

After practicing at a large-volume bankruptcy firm for over three years, Katheryn decided to open up The Hancock Firm, P.A. in order to better serve her clients in the Beaches community. Katheryn has filed nearly 1000 bankruptcy cases and has attended hundreds of creditor meetings and hearings in the Bankruptcy Court. Katheryn is currently the Treasurer of the Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association and Treasurer of the Jacksonville Beaches Bar Association. She is also the President of BRASS (Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony) and is on the Jacksonville Symphony Board of Directors. In her free time, Katheryn enjoys riding her bike, walking on the beach, cooking and baking, going to the gym, fencing, and spending time with her wonderful family.
